Peter Maxim



Peter has been teaching guitar full time for 15 years following a successful career in the music business that started as a teenager and spanned several decades.


For many year he was a regular instrumental and vocal performer at recording sessions, and on film, TV and radio. He has played at the Savoy, Dorchester, Inn on the Park and on the QE2.


As a member of a leading society band Peter appeared at Kensington Palace, Woburn Abbey, Claridges and St. James Club for a Royal Wedding celebration.



Peter spent three years studying classical guitar at the Spanish Guitar Centre in London.


He also trained in jazz guitar for three years with Les Hague at the renowned Eric Guilder School of Music, which led to his being employed as a principal instructor.


Peter's father, Max Saunders, was a well known composer and Peter has continued in the tradition of this talented musical family.


Peter has lived in Crowthorne for over 20 years during which time he has established himself as the most respected and well-known guitar tutor and expert in the area, providing guitar and bass guitar lessons for hundreds of pupils.
